Resident fatally stabbed

A resident of a residential care home in Louisburg, NC, has been stabbed to death with a knife, allegedly by her roommate.

The Franklin County Sheriff's department has arrested 57-year-old Patricia Marrow, charging her with first-degree murder in the death of 88-year-old Elouise Collier. She is being held without bail at the North Carolina Correctional Institution for Women in Raleigh.

The incident happened around 2:50 a.m. today at The Jordan, according to the department. A man who answered the telephone at The Jordan said the facility had no comment.
