HealthcareSource offers two new technologies to help address HR issues

Boston-based software provider HealthcareSource recently debuted two new features, built-in SMS text messaging and an automatic OIG check feature, as part of its Senior Living Talent Suite.

Built-in SMS text messaging gives hiring managers and recruiters another way to connect with applicants during any stage of the hiring process as well as try to meet the needs of the on-the-go workforce.

AutoOIG is designed to save time and meet the compliance needs of operators. Through the feature, applicants' names automatically are checked against the list of excluded individuals maintained by the Office of the Inspector General. This capability enables recruiters and hiring managers to identify applicants who may not be eligible for hire.

Operators who receive funding from federal healthcare programs may be subject to civil monetary penalties if they employ excluded individuals, and any payment for services provided by the individuals is not reimbursable under the programs.
