Medline has launched its first online consumer store offering professional-grade products to residents of assisted living communities, the Northfield, IL-based global manufacturer and distributor announced Wednesday.
PersonalCareDirect.com has personal care products such as incontinence supplies, skin health products, mobility aids, oral care necessities and nutritional supplements, among other products. The website also features educational information to help families select the appropriate products.
“Our customers always are exploring ways to improve resident and their family satisfaction,” said Shawn Scott, senior vice president of post-acute national sales at Medline. “Families spend a great deal of time trying to find quality, reliable supplies for their loved ones. PersonalCareDirect is a solution for both communities and families.”
Attendees of the Argentum Senior Living Executive Conference can check out the website at Booth 321 in the exhibition hall May 15 or 16.
Any assisted living community can get started with the site by signing up at Medline.com. Operators will receive a community code that they can pass along to families so that they can order supplies.
