TheWorxHub by Dude Solutions will donate $5 to the LeadingAge Disaster Relief Fund for every visit to its booth Monday through Wednesday at the LeadingAge Annual Meeting and Expo in New Orleans, according to the company.

The donations, according to LeadingAge, will help meet the immediate needs of those affected by recent hurricanes and wildfires. LeadingAge also is accepting direct donations to the fund here.

“We are heartbroken over the devastation caused by recent natural disasters, especially knowing that senior living communities are among those deeply impacted,” said Nick Mirisis, vice president of marketing at Dude Solutions. “Giving back is an important part of our company culture, and we hope our pledge not only helps these communities in their recovery efforts, but initiates meaningful conversations with attendees.”

The company’s booth is No. 1029.

The exhibit hall will be open Monday from noon to  3:30 p.m., Tuesday from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., and Wednesday  from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m.

Dude Solutions also will be demonstrating TheWorxHub, its suite of cloud-based operations management solutions designed for senior living. The demos are scheduled throughout expo hours and include overviews of TheWorxHub as well as the recently released security application.

Dude Solutions’ senior living director, Josh Malbogat, also participated Sunday in an educational session alongside Dennis Graham, vice president operations at Oklahoma Methodist Manor. The session, “Housekeeping Benchmarks and Best Practices,” analyzed benchmarks and performance data from more than 400 senior living housekeeping departments. A discussion followed about how data can inform strategic staffing and relocation allocation decisions.
