LeadingAge New York works for SSI increase

LeadingAge New York has been advocating for an increase in the supplemental security income rate for those who live in assisted living communities and adult care facilities, according to the organization.

The group supports a stand-alone bill to increase the rate and has talked with legislators and others. LeadingAge New York hopes that the increase will be included in the final budget for the state.
