Thomas Bang, left, and Jack York

Thomas Bang is the new CEO of It’s Never 2 Late. He will be responsible for market expansion, extending the firm’s product technology and ensuring customer and operational excellence.

iN2L’s person-centered engagement tools are used in more than 2,000 senior living communities across all 50 states, Canada, Australia and Northern Ireland. Bang will seek to expand iN2L’s existing footprint.

“Tom is an accomplished healthcare IT CEO who accelerates value creation through strategic vision, organizational engagement, alignment and integrity,” iN2L founder Jack York said in a statement. “He has a uniquely personal appreciation of the market. It’s reassuring to have Tom at the helm to continue to drive our market leadership.”

York, who started iN2L in 1999 as a way to engage older adults, regardless of their physical or cognitive limitations, will serve as president. In his new role, York will focus on further strengthening relationships with clients, technology partners and thought leaders, as well as expanding iN2L’s global footprint.

“Driven by his evangelistic passion, Jack has grown a very successful business with a significant install base,” Bang said in a statement. “On a larger scale, iN2L created the resident engagement market and has achieved undisputed market leadership.”

Bang has created more than $1 billion in incremental value leading various organizations. As CEO of A-Life Medical, he led the market expansion and growth of the coding analytics company recognized by Inc. as one of the fastest-growing companies. He led the turnaround of MediTROL Technologies as CEO there; the company subsequently was purchased by Cardinal Health (Pyxis). Bang also held senior executive positions at Cardinal Health, Baxter International and American Hospital Supply, among other companies.
