Real estate development company LKP Ventures is undertaking its first senior living project via a partnership Civitas Senior Living that will result in an assisted living and memory care community in Roanoke, TX, called Harvest Senior Living.

“We hope this will be the first senior living community of many,” Narayan Patel of LKP Ventures said in a statement. Both companies are located in the Dallas / Fort Worth area.

Groundbreaking on the 67,000-square-foot community, which will include 67 assisted living and 16 memory care apartments, is expected to occur in the spring.

“Harvest Senior Living represents a continuation of our efforts to provide our signature high degree of hospitality in new ways,” Patel said.

Wayne Powell, founder and CEO of senior living property management and consulting company Civitas, said the decision for the two companies to partner on the project was an easy one.

“We are known for our passionate approach to senior living. LKP Ventures is passionate about providing outstanding hospitality,” he said. “It was a simple transition for them and a natural partnership for both companies.”

Also involved in the project are Arrive Architects and interior design firm Senior By Design.
