Senior living companies Link Senior Development and Insight Senior Living have partnered to develop a new luxury senior living brand called Ativo Senior Living.
Ativo’s first property, Ativo Senior Living of Yuma, is under construction, with plans to open in early 2021. The firm has three additional communities planned in Arizona and New Mexico.
The communities will be designed in an effort to nurture residents’ personal interests and will include a host of community amenities meant to ensure resident health and safety, including smart home technology and safety kiosks with hands-free temperature checks at entrances. Residents also will have access to multiple dining venues, including al fresco dining, farm-to-table-influenced menus featuring local produce, and sky lounges with local beer and wine on tap; and outdoor amenity spaces, with private pet parks, surrey bikes and more.
“The intent of Ativo Senior Living is to create communities that encourage physical, intellectual, creative and social independence while cultivating social interaction and emotional support,” the firms said in a statement. “Ativo Senior Living embraces local traditions, interests, and intergenerational relationships in contemporary environments that focus on engaging in purposeful living for the residents.”
