Trinity Health names Jaclyn Harris president and CEO
Jaclyn “Jackie” Harris has been named president and CEO of Livonia, MI-based Trinity Health Senior Communities. She will start in the position July 31.
Harris previously was THSC’s president and CEO from 2001 to 2009, then was president and CEO of Integrace, a faith-based family of retirement communities and resources in Maryland.
Harris pursued studies in business administration at Central Michigan University and long-term care administration at Michigan State University. She is a certified aging services professional and the former chair of LeadingAge Michigan and former executive board member and treasurer of the American Seniors Housing Association.
Sinceri Senior Living promotes April Young to COO
April Young, former executive vice president of operation and sales at Vancouver, WA-based Sinceri Senior Living, has been promoted to chief operations officer.
Young has worked for Sinceri for seven and a half years.
Presbyterian Homes names Shannon Gutierrez COO
Shannon Gutierrez has been named chief operating officer of Skokie, IL-based Presbyterian Homes.
She will provide operational oversight, including team building, development and technology implementation for the three continuing care retirement / life plan communities (Lake Forest Place, The Moorings of Arlington Heights, and Westminster Place) and the rental community (Ten Twenty Grove) that Presbyterian Homes manages.
Gutierrez brings to the position more than 25 years of experience in the senior living industry. She most recently was national vice president of operations for Anthem Memory Care.
She holds a Bachelor of Social Work degree from the University of Illinois and became a licensed nursing home administrator in 2003 in Illinois.
D’Youville Life & Wellness names Michael Ferrick CEO
Michael Ferrick began serving as president and CEO of D’Youville Life & Wellness, Lowell, MA, on June 1, succeeding the retiring Naomi Prendergrast.
Ferrick joined D’Youville in 2017 and formerly was the company’s chief operating officer/administrator.
Predergast had been in the role since 2004. Since 2021, she also has been functioning as the vice president of business development and community relations for the Carmelite System, and she remains in that position.
Morning Pointe at Happy Valley names Pam Turley executive director
Pam Turley has been named executive director at Morning Pointe at Happy Valley, Rossville, GA.
Turley has been an RN for 37 years. Her career has encompassed senior living, including both assisted living and memory care, as well as home healthcare. She was an executive director at an assisted living facility in Cleveland, TN, for the past 15 years.
Turley earned her LPN license from Dalton Vocational School of Health Occupations. She earned her RN from the Chattanooga State School of Nursing.
Dominion Senior Living of Frankfort names Angela Dunn executive director
Angela Dunn has been named executive director of Dominion Senior Living of Frankfort, Frankfort, KY.
Dunn began her career as a certified nursing assistant and then studied to become a licensed practical nurse at Bluegrass Community Technical College. She has held a wide array of positions, including nursing unit manager, medical records personnel, staff development coordinator, certified wound nurse manager and wellness director.
Dunn is also a US Army veteran with 25 years of service.
Kendal appoints Daniel Rock director of procurement
Daniel Rock has been named director of procurement at Newark, DE-based The Kendal Corp.
Rock previously was purchasing director for Hodell-Natco Industries. Prior to that, he worked at the Institute for Transfusion Medicine as the executive director of purchasing, operations and transportation.
LCS’ Care Purchasing Services hires David Mercugliano as director of business development
David Mercugliano has been named director of business development at Care Purchasing Services, an LCS company dedicated to group purchasing for the senior living industry.
Mercugliano will be responsible for increasing CPS membership to ensure the growth of overall purchasing power.
Mercugliano previously was a senior vice president at HealthPRO Heritage. He is a licensed physical therapist and has been certified by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialists to serve as a geriatric clinical specialist.
