Enso Village welcomes Pamela Coleman as VP of people and culture

Pamela Coleman is the new vice president of people and culture at Enso Village, a Zen-inspired Kendal affiliate in Healdsburg, CA, developed by the Kendal Corp. and the San Francisco Zen Center. It is expected to open this fall.

Coleman’s background includes more than 20 years of experience across multiple industries, including nonprofit, start-up and growth organizations. Most recently, she was the vice president of people and culture at a food and beverage services organization.

Coleman earned an undergraduate degree in psychology from Brown University and has a Six Sigma Green belt certification.

Anthem appoints Nick Katinos executive director at Grace Point Place

Nick Katinos has been named executive director for Grace Point Place, an Anthem Memory Care community in Oak Lawn, IL.

He brings more than seven years of senior living experience to this position. Katinos previously was executive director of Sunrise of Naperville North in Naperville, IL. He also formerly was executive director for Brighton Gardens of Wheaton in Wheaton, IL. 

Katinos earned an undergraduate degree in hospitality management from Johnson & Wales University.

Avery Point welcomes Peter Harding, DO, as medical director

Peter R. Harding, DO, has been named medical director at Avery Point, an Erickson Senior Living-managed community in Short Pump, VA.

Harding has more than 20 years of healthcare experience. He worked for 13 years as a hospitalist, community clinic director and hospice center associate director. Before that, he served as a physician for the US Air Force after graduating from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey – School of Osteopathic Medicine.

Cypress Cove welcomes Greg Madsen as resident services manager

Greg Madsen has been named resident services manager at Cypress Cove, a continuing care retirement community in Fort Myers, FL.

Madsen has served in operations, marketing, admissions and community relations at several retirement communities, assisted living communities and skilled nursing facilities throughout Southwest Florida. He also has experience working in the home health industry.

Madsen’s education includes a master’s degree in educational leadership from University of South Florida and an undergraduate degree in elementary education from Florida Southern College. He is CORE certified through the state of Florida as a certified assisted living administrator and also maintains CPR/First Aid certification.

Goodwin Living names Ben Marcantonio as vice chair of board

Ben Marcantonio has been elected vice chair of the Goodwin Living Board of Trustees. 

Marcantonio is the chief operating officer and interim CEO at the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization. He has more than three decades of leadership experience in educational, healthcare and social service settings. 

Marcantonio has served on the Goodwin Living board since 2021. He holds a Master of Science degree in counseling from San Diego State University, a Master of Education degree in administrative leadership from the University of San Diego and an undergraduate degree in theology and philosophy from the Gregorian University in Rome.

AMDA names Michelle Zinnert executive director 

Michelle Zinnert was named executive director of AMDA – The Society for Post-Acute and Long-Term Care Medicine during its recently concluded annual conference in Tampa. 

In her new role, Zinnert will be responsible for leading the society’s team of professionals while increasing the value of the organization to its members, partners and other stakeholders.

She brings experience in association management, including strategic planning, marketing and member engagement. Before joining AMDA’s team, Zinnert was executive director of the American Urogynecologic Society for 16 years. During her tenure, that society saw significant growth in revenue, membership and product development, according to AMDA.

HMP Senior Solutions appoints Kalyn Jennings as senior accounting manager

Kalyn Jennings has joined HMP Senior Solutions as senior accounting manager.

Before joining HMP, she was a senior accountant for National Healthcare Corp., where she was responsible for cost reporting, completing financial audits and filing unclaimed property. 

Jennings earned her undergraduate degree in business administration, with a concentration in accounting, from Tennessee Tech University.

Jim Norris to retire from Link-age; company welcomes new team members

Jim Norris, executive director of Link-age Solutions and head of Link-age’s dining program, will be retiring March 31. He spent more than 17 years with the organization.

Mike Randolph joins Link-age Solutions as director of dining solutions. Randolph spent the previous 16 years as food service director at Brethren Retirement Community in Greenville, OH.

Aaron Huminsky joins Link-age as director of business development. Huminsky comes to Link-age with 20 years of healthcare experience with organizations such as Cardinal Health and the Cleveland Clinic, holding leadership roles in sales, business development and category management.

McGriff appoints Michael Welz to lead senior living practice

Michael Welz has been promoted to senior vice president and national practice leader for McGriff’s senior living practice. Welz joined McGriff, a full-service insurance broker, in March 2022 and has focused on working with colleagues to support existing clients while developing and expanding new client relationships.

Before joining McGriff, he supported clients across the senior living industry within another national broker’s healthcare practice. 

Welz earned an undergraduate degree in business administration from LaSalle University.

MedCore Partners hires Angela Dreiske as CFO

Angela Dreiske has been named chief financial officer of MedCore Partners, a healthcare and senior living commercial real estate company.

Before joining MedCore, Dreiske was the senior vice president of accounting for the investment management team at Stream Realty Partners in Dallas. While at Stream, she managed five discretionary funds and separate account mandates totaling more than $1.7 billion in equity and three of Stream’s co-investment vehicles.

Before her time at Stream, she was a senior manager at Standish Management, a third-party administrator, with $450 billion in assets under management.

Dreiske holds an undergraduate degree in business administration from the University of Texas at Austin and is a licensed certified public accountant in Texas.

Joe & Bella welcomes new board members

Joe & Bella, a Chicago-based adaptive apparel brand for older adults, has named an advisory board to help support the brand’s growth and further its connection to the senior housing industry.

The Admiral at the Lake team receives two Honoring Excellence awards

The Admiral at the Lake’s Brit Vipham and Zina Kind recently were recognized through the LeadingAge Illinois’ Honoring Excellence program at the group’s annual meeting. This program recognizes individuals and organizations who put quality first and deliver excellence while inspiring others to do the same. 

Vipham, project manager for The Admiral, a Kendal affiliate, was awarded with the Leadership in Action Management award. This award recognizes people working within management departments who demonstrate actions of leadership that enhance the company’s work environment and the quality of life for their colleagues and residents.

Kind, director of information technology at The Admiral, was presented the Strive and Thrive Management award. This award is given to people who demonstrate an extraordinary commitment to excellence through innovation and creative thinking.
