Emerald Communities names Matthew McArthur as vice president, chief financial officer

Matthew McArthur has been announced as vice president, chief financial officer, of Emerald Communities, Redmond, WA. 

McArthur will oversee the strategic and operational aspects of finance, accounting and IT. He also will partner with the executive team, senior management, board of directors and several outside consultants.

He has more than 20 years of experience in finance and accounting leadership. Prior to joining Emerald Communities, McArthur was the director of finance and treasurer at Puget Sound Energy.

Hebrew SeniorLife hires Ann Masterson as vice president

Ann Masterson has been hired as the vice president of Hebrew SeniorLife, Boston.

In her new role, she will have operational responsibility of the two Hebrew Rehabilitation Center rehabilitative services units: HRC-Boston and HRC-NewBridge, both of which are based in Dedham, MA, and are accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation. She also will be responsible for financial performance and compliance with all state and federal regulations and surveys. 

Masterson brings with her more than 20 years of experience. She most recently was the interim director of quality and regulatory affairs at the company. Prior to this role, she was the chief operating officer for HouseWorks for three years.

Michael Marlow has been hired as vice president of sales education at Watercrest Senior Living Group, Vero Beach, FL. 

Marlow has more than 30 years of experience in senior living sales and marketing. As vice president of sales education, he will be responsible for establishing effective sales training and implementation to maximize lead management and referral development for all the communities operated by the company.

Bryant has gained many years of experience in the senior living industry serving in various leadership roles. She will hes the director of the company’s Beatrice Hover Assisted Living.

Kaufman Lynn Construction welcomes two executives

Russell Anderson and Jason Patrizi have joined Kaufman Lynn Construction of Delray Beach, FL, as executive vice president of preconstruction and senior vice president of operations, respectively.

In his new role, Anderson will lead the team and collaborate with clients, trade contractor partners and the Kaufman Lynn team as a whole. Before joining Kaufman Lynn Construction, he was the senior vice president of development at Kushner/Westminster. He also received the Design-Build Institutes National Award for Best Overall Project. 

Patrizi will oversee all construction operations-related aspects, including project development, contract negotiations, staffing assignments, scheduling, cost analysis and forecasting. He also will help the company continue to create operational consistency across its regional markets, along with supporting its strategic growth and scalability. Patrizi has more than 20 years of experience in the construction field.

VITAS Healthcare announces Debbie Jackson’s return as VP of operations in Ohio and western Pennsylvania

Debbie Jackson has been announced as the vice president of operations of VITAS Healthcare in Ohio and western Pennsylvania.

In her new position, she oversees VITAS teams that provide hospice care in the Cincinnati, Columbus, Dayton and Pittsburgh areas. She also plans to elevate VITAS’ palliative care services throughout Ohio and western Pennsylvania and to leverage regional relationships to generate referrals and assist patients get care access that meets their individual needs.

Jackson initially was employed at VITAS between 2008 and 2012, serving as a patient care administrator. In that role, she oversaw all clinical management and field staff in Dayton.

VITAS Healthcare employs 11,213 professionals who care for patients with advanced illness, primarily in the patients’ homes and also in the company’s 28 inpatient hospice units as well as in assisted living communities/residential care facilities for the elderly, nursing homes and hospitals.
