Leisure Care promotes Bre Grubbs to chief strategy officer
Bre Grubbs has been promoted to the position of partner and chief strategy officer at Leisure Care.
Shehas been with Leisure Care since 2005 in various capacities, including sales, marketing and business development.
Grubbs has a Bachelor of Arts in business administration from Washington State University and an accounting certificate from the University of Washington. She is a National Investment Center for Seniors Housing & Care Future Leaders Council alumnus and Oversight Committee member, was named to the Puget Sound Business Journal 40 Under 40 and was a 2019 McKnight’s Rising Star honoree.

Masonic Homes of California names Terry Quigley president and CEO
Terry Quigley has been named president and CEO of Masonic Homes of California.
She has more than 20 years of leadership experience in the senior living sector. Prior to this appointment, Quigley was the chief operating officer for Episcopal Communities and Services in Southern California, where she oversaw three continuing care retirement communities, an assisted living community and an affordable housing community, serving approximately 700 residents.
A graduate of the University of California, San Diego, and San Diego State University, Quigley has spent most of her career in the California senior living and care industry.

EF Senior Care announces Karen Blake as administrator at the Terraces Orleans
Karen Blake has been named the administrator at The Terraces Orleans, offering independent living and skilled nursing in Orleans, MA.
Throughout her career, Blake has worked for several healthcare providers, including Kindred Healthcare at Eagle Pond, Next Step Healthcare and Beacon Hospice.
Blake graduated from Springfield College with an undergraduate degree in therapeutic recreation and also holds an MBA with a concentration in healthcare management from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth. She also is a certified therapeutic recreation specialist.


Friendship promotes Erin Layell to administrator, names Nicole Miracle director
Erin Layell has been promoted to administrator of Friendship Assisted Living, Roanoke, VA.
Most recently, Layell was director of home- and community-based services for Friendship. Previously, she was part of the Friendship Health & Rehab Center interdisciplinary team, serving as the activities director.
Layell is a graduate of Wake Forest University.
Nicole Miracle has been tapped to succeed Layell as HCBS director at Friendship.
Miracle has 12 years of experience working with older adults in various capacities. She most recently worked as a senior memory care director before relocating from Maryland and joining the local Office on Aging.

Buda Oaks appoints Theresa Panzino memory care coordinator
Theresa Panzino has been named the memory care coordinator at Buda Oaks, a Buda, TX, assisted living and memory care community managed by JCI Senior Housing.
Panzino has almost 20 years of experience in senior living, skilled nursing and behavioral health.

Springpoint names Joan Fredella assistant executive director of Oaks at Denville
Joan Fredella has been named assistant executive director of The Oaks at Denville, a Springpoint community in Denville, NJ
Fredella brings more than 20 years of experience in long-term care and assisted living and is a licensed nursing home administrator in Florida, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Vermont and Virginia.
Fredella is a graduate of Montclair State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in business management and marketing.

Red Oak Capital Holdings appoints Stratos Athanassiades as manager
Stratos Athanassiades has been named regional manager, Midwest, at Red Oak Capital Holdings.
Athanassiades comes to Red Oak with more than 25 years of expertise in the commercial real estate finance arena, having worked with a variety of financial companies ranging from banks to life insurance companies. Most recently, Athanassiades was a managing director with Verus Commercial Real Estate Finance. Prior to that, he held leadership roles with firms including Money360, Alliant Credit Union, Business Partners, MetLife and Wachovia Securities.
Athanassiades holds an undergraduate degree in political science and international relations from Northwestern University.
