Senior Living Residences’ partner Tadd Clelland named president and CEO

Tadd Clelland is the new president and CEO of Braintree, MA-based Senior Living Residences.

Clelland joined the company in 2005 and has been a partner since 2007. In this capacity, he oversaw all aspects of operations for the company’s portfolio, consisting of 17 communities in the New England region. 

As president and CEO, Clelland will lead the company with a focus on controlled growth in partnership with a New England-based development group, as well as many national institutional investors. In October, SLR will bring on its 18th community, in Connecticut. 

Robert Larkin, former president, founded the company in 1990. Although he will no longer be president, he will continue to be actively involved in the company as managing partner and general counsel.

Westmont Living nams Rob Hendreson COO, Dever Lamkin CFO

Rob Henderson and Dever Lamkin have been named chief operating officer and chief financial officer, respectively, at Westmont Living, La Jolla, CA. 

Henderson joined Westmont as senior vice president of operations as 2019. He began his career as a skilled nursing administrator, where he operated several SNFs for a Los Angeles-based provider. He also worked at Sunrise Senior Living for a decade, where he served as executive director and regional director of operations.

Henderson has a skilled nursing administrator license, as well as an residential care facility for the elderly certification, and he is a certified director of assisted living. 

Lamkin joined Westmont this year. Before joining the company, he worked at Senior Resource Group for 20 years, beginning as staff accountant and then rising up to be corporate controller. During this time, the company grew from eight to 32 communities.

Wesley Enhanced Living welcomes Michael Griffin as VP of finance and CFO

Michael Griffin has joined Wesley Enhanced Living, Warminster, PA, as vice president of finance and chief financial officer. 

Before joining the company, Griffin was CFO at Pennswood Village in Bucks County, PA He also was a controller for Chandler Hall Health Services and a financial auditor for Parente Beard.

Griffin is a surveyor for the Commission on Accreditation on Rehabilitation Facilities, a board member for LeadingAge PA, a nursing home administrator and personal care administrator. He also has a certification in public accounting and medical experience as a U.S. Army combat medic. 

He graduated with an MBA degree from Holy Family University and was an adjunct professor at Gwynedd Mercy University and Holy Family University.

Ridgeline Management Co. names John Safrans full partner

John Safrans, current president and CEO of Ridgeline Management Co., West Linn, OR, will become a full partner at the company. Chuck McGlade, M.D., will continue to serve as a crucial part of the new operations, the company said.

Both Safrans and McGlade started rebuilding the company’s philosophy in the summer of 2019. Ridgeline has gone through a period of changes, largely due to the effect of the pandemic on the senior living industry. The company is looking for new partnership opportunities in community ownership, management, development and construction.

Oak Crest names Kevin Sitoski director of finance

Kevin Sitoski has been named director of finance at Oak Crest, Parkville, MD, an Erickson Senior Living community.

Sitoski has more than 21 years of financial management experience in senior living and healthcare settings. He has worked at Erickson Senior Living since 2018. In his new role, he will handle daily supervision of strategic financial management, budgeting and analysis for Oak Crest.

Sitoski has an undergraduate degree in accounting from DeSales University and is enrolled at the University of Illinois Gies College of Business, where he is pursuing an MBA.

Juniper Village at Louisville names Dallas Mulvin executive director

Dallas Mulvin has been named executive director of Juniper Village at Louisville, Louisville, CO, a part of Juniper Communities.

In her new role, Dallas will supervise the community’s leadership team, manage daily operations and follow Juniper’s hallmarks, policies, procedures and state regulations. 

Dallas has an undergraduate degree in therapeutic recreation. She is a certified activity director and certified dementia practitioner, as well as a Teepa Snow Positive Approach to Care trainer.

Stevenson Oaks welcomes Kristi Baird as executive director

Kristi Baird has joined Stevenson Oaks, Fort Worth, TX, as executive director. She will join Methodist Retirement Communities and Greystone.

Most of her experience in the field is from 20 years of working at Marriott Hotels. Most recently, she was assistant general manager for The Sinclair, where she served on the pre-opening team. 

Baird graduated from the University of North Texas and is in the process of earning an assisted living certification.

Masonic Homes Kentucky hires Jade Goble as client services director for two communities

Jade Goble has been hired by Masonic Homes Kentucky, Louisville, KY, as client services director for Grove Pointe Assisted Living and Crescent Grove Memory & Personal Care communities. 

In her new role, Goble will implement marketing plans and all aspects of admissions for both communities. Before joining the company, she worked as a director of marketing and admissions at Genesis Healthcare. 

Along with her marketing and sales experience, Goble is a certified emergency medical technician and was a project manager for Quest Care EMS.

Chris Eanes has joined Friendship, Roanoke, VA, as director of dining services at Friendship Assisted Living. 

Eanes formerly was executive chef for the Roanoke Civic Center and prepared meals for an assortment of visiting celebrities, including Elton John, Jerry Seinfeld and former President Barack Obama.

Saxony Court Senior Living hires Chris Castro as culinary director

Chris Castro has joined Saxony Court Senior Living, East Peoria, IL, as culinary director. Castro will lead dining services at the assisted living and independent living community.

Parent company Accolade Healthcare acquired the community on July 1. 

Castro joins the company with experience in fine dining and healthcare services. Castro started his career in healthcare more than 15 years ago and has been a certified chef for eight years.

Laurel Circle hires Eric Eichhorst as director of sales and marketing

Eric Eichhorst has joined Laurel Circle, Bridgewater, NJ, as director of sales and marketing. 

Eichhorst has more than 15 years of experience in the senior living field. In his new role, he will be in charge of managing the community’s sales team as well as supervising and implementing the community’s sales and marketing strategy. Additionally, he will oversee the community’s website, social media and public relations efforts.

Before joining Laurel Circle, Eichhorst was the director of sales and marketing at a senior living community in Freehold, NJ, for more than six years.

Perkins Eastman hires Alejandro Giraldo as a principal in the firm’s global senior living practice

Alejandro Giraldo, LEED AP BD+C, CASP, has joined Perkins Eastman as a principal in the firm’s global senior living practice.

Giraldo is a Colombia native and has practiced architecture for more than 25 years in both South America and the United States. He previously was a principal at THW Design.

Giraldo will be based in the company’s Stamford, CT and New York, NY studios.

He is a Pontifical Bolivarian University graduate, an LEED-accredited professional and a certified aging service professional.

Berkada Seniors Housing & Healthcare adds Simona Silson as director

Simona Wilson has joined Berkadia Seniors Housing & Healthcare, El Segundo, CA, as a director. 

Before joining the company, Wilson founded Crescent Capital. There, she advised senior housing capital providers and operators on all phases of the investment cycle, such as capital raising, underwriting, operator identification and selection, development project oversight, asset management and portfolio strategy. 

Wilson spent 15 years as part of the investment team at the real estate investment trust Healthpeak, where she was vice president of strategy and business development and vice president of acquisitions and valuations.

She is a graduate from the Leventhal School of Accounting at the University of Southern California.
