Cypress Living will provide consulting services to the home health segment of Fort Myers, FL-based Lee Health, Cypress announced Monday. Lee Health is one of the largest home health providers in Southwest Florida.

Cypress will provide support for workforce development, revenue cycle management, operational efficiency, business development and clinical programming. The company already provides operational support to Cypress at Home, winner of a Gold Award in the Quality category of the Home Care track of the 2022 McKnight’s Excellence in Technology Awards — and at Cypress Cove, a continuing care retirement community.

Cypress Living Public Relations Manager Jennifer Benton, APR, CPRC, told the McKnight’s Business Daily that Cypress’ experience with home care makes it possible for the company to collaborate with Lee Health.

Home health services through Cypress at Home and Cypress Cove will be unaffected by the company’s new collaboration, she said, as the relationship with Lee Health will be strictly consulting services.

“This strategic partnership will aid in the overall redesign of the longitudinal care continuum by improving outcomes and quality while working to reduce the cost of care through improved collaboration, navigation, and coordination,” Cypress Living CEO/President Troy Churchill, LNHA, MHA, said in a statement. “With a focus on leadership, strategy and innovation, our team is excited for the opportunity to expand our scope to positively impact adults living here in Southwest Florida.”

Scott Nygaard, MD, MBA, chief operating officer of Lee Health, said that his company was “proud” to partner with Cypress Living, an organization he said had “shared values and expertise that’s right here in our backyard.”
