Marion, OH-based United Church Homes Management, a subsidiary of United Church Homes, has added almost 300 units to its management portfolio so far this year, the company said in an Aug. 29 update.

The expansion includes the management of three senior living communities: Wexner Heritage Village, offering a full continuum of care in Columbus, OH; The Northridge, an independent living community in North Ridgeville, OH; and Friends Fellowship Community, an independent living community in Richmond, IN.

“We are thrilled to witness the continuous expansion of UCH Management,” Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Growth Officer Terry Spitznagel said. “This growth reaffirms our commitment to creating nurturing and vibrant environments where older adults can thrive. We look forward to furthering our mission of helping more older adult[s] age abundantly.”

UCH Management’s portfolio has expanded by 38% over the past three years, according to the organization. The company currently manages 20 senior living communities in seven US states, providing a variety of services to affordable housing, independent living, middle market and continuing care retirement communities.

Parent company United Church Homes owns or manages more than 90 communities in 15 states — Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Nebraska, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Washington and West Virginia — and  two Native American nations. The organization serves almost 7,000 residents.

Founded in 1916, UCH is the 22nd largest multisite, nonprofit senior living organization in the United States, according to the 2022 LeadingAge Ziegler 200 rankings.
