Lois joined McKnight’s Senior Living in 2015 to help lead the expansion of the brand to include a website, e-newsletter, social media and other components in addition to its existing bimonthly print magazine. Since then, she has helped the brand expand even further.
Lois has spent almost her entire career covering healthcare, the business of healthcare and related topics via journalism or public relations. She holds a Master of Arts degree in journalism and mass communication (media management concentration) from Kent State University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in communication, with honors and minors in business administration (marketing and management focus) and psychology, from Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania. She is the recipient of the Jesse H. Neal National Business Journalism Award, often called the Pulitzer Prize of business-to-business journalism, as well as other international, national, regional and local honors for her work.
Lois and her husband’s love of exploring the food scene provides extra motivation for them to pursue their other hobbies of hiking and cycling.
