Florida took four of the top 10 spots on the Best 55+ Active Adult Communities of 2020 from 55places.com, with Ocala, FL-based On Top of the World claiming the top spot for the second straight year.
This is the seventh list analyzing age-restricted communities across the country on median home price, number of homes sold in the last 12 months, variety of home styles, amenities and ranking on Gallup’s Wellbeing Index.
On Top of the World has been included in nearly every ranking produced by the website, including benign named 55places’ Most Popular and Best-Selling Community of 2019. The last few years have seen major renovations to the community’s golf facilities and the Arbor Fitness Club.
