Numerous healthcare-related companies — including real estate, healthcare services and software — made Inc. 5000 2023 list of America’s fastest-growing private companies, released Tuesday. Median growth for the 5,000 named companies was 192%.

Companies on the list are ranked according to percentage revenue growth from 2019 to 2022. To qualify, firms must have been founded and generating revenue by March 31, 2019. They must be US-based, privately held, for-profit and independent — not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies. The minimum revenue required for 2019 is $100,000; the minimum for 2022 is $2 million. 

Nashville, TN-based home healthcare provider CareBridge was the top company on the list, with a significant 157,144% year-over-year growth rate.

Trilogy Senior Living also is among the organizations to make the list. San Marcos, TX-based Trilogy operates assisted living and memory care communities throughout Texas. The company ranks 210 on the list. Inc. cites a 2,657% growth rate. That’s up from last year’s ranking of 4,523 on the list with a 97% growth rate.

SkillGigs, a Houston-based e-commerce talent marketplace that pairs skilled healthcare and technology job seekers with AI-matched work opportunities, made the list for the first time in the company’s history, ranking at No. 1,405.

“We are thrilled to be named to the Inc. 5000 list for the first time,” SkillGigs founder and CEO Kashif Aftab said in a statement. “Our platform has spurred unprecedented growth in just three years, thanks to our relentless focus on delivering a seamless, intuitive, and intelligent end-to-end experience for our users.”

In the software category, Somerville, MA-based Rendever, a virtual reality company, ranks 2,780 overall, making 2023 the third consecutive year on the list for the Boston-based company. Inc. cites a growth rate of 192%.

“It’s our mission to make aging a more welcomed chapter in life. We are honored to see Rendever’s growth acknowledged with this recognition right as we launch into another chapter of our development as a company,” Rendever co-founder and CEO Kyle Rand said in a statement. “We are constantly pushing the boundaries of what care can look like, and our continuous growth is due to the dedication of this team as we work to change the world.”

Fresno-based Wellpointe Home Health made the list for the first time, ranking 3,072, with a 169% growth rate.
