The seventh McKnight’s Senior Living Online Expo will close out on Thursday, June 15, with a session that will help senior living operators successfully implement technology.

Industry professionals will be able to earn a continuing education credit for attending “Technology implementation strategy: Best practices for senior living communities” at 3:30 p.m. ET.

Attendees will learn:

  • The benefits of technology implementation in senior living communities.
  • How to identify the right technology solutions for their communities.
  • Potential roadblocks to the technology implementation process.
  • Strategies for engaging staff members and residents in the implementation process.
  • How to measure the effects of technology on resident and staff outcomes.
  • Best practices for ongoing technology management and support.

Speaking will be Aaron Fields, chief iInformation officer at St. Ann’s Community.

The webinar is one of four that will be part of the McKnight’s Senior Living Online Expo. Each will offer CE credit.

The three other hour-long educational sessions:

  • 11 a.m. ET: “Knowledge is power: Citation trends and preparing for your on-site survey”
  • 12:30 p.m. ET: “Using a career ladder to recruit and retain long-term employees”
  • 2 p.m. ET: “Elevating senior living quality through trusted partnerships”

The virtual doors of the event will open at 10:30 a.m. ET, when participants will have the chance to network with peers and visit the online exhibition hall featuring products and services from companies serving long-term care.

Webinar attendees also will be able to visit the online booths before and after the CE sessions.
