Artificial intelligence is being leveraged in a variety of contexts within senior living, and now it is being deployed by one platform to help with housing demand and operational data.

NIC MAP Vision AI has been launched to help streamline or expedite a variety of tasks that are typically considered time-consuming for senior living operators. The company announced the release of the AI-bolstered data platform Tuesday during the NIC spring conference in Dallas.

The new AI tool will be able to offer updated financial analysis on the seniors housing market, simplify regulator compliance and assist with staff hiring, via AI-enabled resume screeners and interview guides.

“Senior housing stakeholders have limited resources and big responsibilities,” Arick Morton, NIC MAP Vision CEO, said in a statement. “[NIC MAP Vision AI] is a powerful tool that can accelerate data collection and analysis, allowing teams to keep up with increased demand without adding more employees or getting bogged down with time-consuming tasks.”

It has been a busy period for NIC. In September, the group hosted  its first annual Data & Analytics conference in Minneapolis, with the goal of helping with insights on property evaluations for both investors and operators. NIC also introduced a new senior housing certification program in October to provide attendees’ better understanding of market dynamics. Its first class of graduates met earlier this week in Dallas.

The group also provides quarterly reports on the national trends in senior living occupancy rates.

According to its latest data, senior living occupancy rates are expected to return to pre-pandemic highs this year. Other evaluators of the senior housing market also are expecting a “favorable outlook” for this year, particularly within Midwest metro regions, McKnight’s recently reported.
