Legend Senior Living adds Jenn Fast and Sarah Hobbs as VPs

Jenn Fast has been named vice president of people, and Sarah Hobbs has been named vice president of clinical services at Legend Senior Living

Fast comes from Eyecare Partners of Ballwin, MO, where she has been director of human resources business partnerships since October 2020. Fast most recently was human resources manager for Masterbrand Cabinets in Newton, KS, and before that, spent 18 years at Koch Industries companies in human resources positions, the past seven as human resources leader. Her undergraduate degree in finance is from Culver-Stockton College.

Hobbs began as assistant director of nursing at the Catholic Care Center, Wichita, KS, and since 2013 has been director of clinical informatics and regional director of MDs at Ascension Living before becoming vice president of clinical transformation/clinical services, where she has served since October 2020.

LCB Senior Living promotes Amber Evans to VP of memory care and resident engagement

Amber Evans has been promoted to vice president of memory care and resident engagement at LCB Senior Living

Evans joined LCB Senior Living in 2015 as a memory care and engagement specialist before being promoted to director of memory care and resident engagement in 2021. In February, she also was named the vice chair of education outreach for the National Institute for Dementia Education’s Standard of Excellence Council.

Evans is a licensed clinical mental health counselor and a registered dance/movement therapist, specializing in nonpharmacological and expressive art interventions for people living with dementia, as well as for their families.

Carlos Vazquez has been named director of human resources and corporate compliance officer, and Sarah Pattee has been named internal communications manager at Lenbrook

Before to joining Lenbrook, Vazquez worked for more than 25 years at the Coca-Cola Co. in various HR roles. For the past two years, he was principal of a boutique, full-service HR consulting firm. He holds an undergraduate degree in sociology from William Penn University and is a graduate of the Harvard Executive Education Summit Leadership Program.

Pattee previously worked for Pfizer as a senior communications specialist for 13 years. She holds an undergraduate degree in English from Boston College.

Retirement Unlimited Inc. adds Sam Kelderhouse, Fajr Mills as executive directors

Retirement Unlimited Inc. has named Sam Kelderhouse and Fajr Mills as new executive directors.

Kelderhouse has been promoted to executive director of the Aarondale senior living community in Springfield, VA. He received his MBA from Appalachian State University.

Mills is the new executive director at The Barrington at Hioaks in Richmond, VA. She has an undergraduate degree in health sciences and an MBA.

Erickson Senior Living promotes Heather Ancheta to director of continuing care at Highland Springs

Heather Ancheta has been promoted to director of continuing care at Highland Springs, an Erickson Senior Living-managed community in Dallas.

Ancheta has been with Highland Springs for 16 years, most recently serving as assisted living and memory care manager. Previously, she was the medical center practice manager who provided support to outpatient rehabilitation and home support services.

Ancheta holds an undergraduate degree in psychology and a master’s degree in administration of long-term care and retirement housing from the University of North Texas.

LCB adds Gina Lucchese to sales team in Fairfield County

Gina Lucchese has been added to the LCB Senior Living sales team in Fairfield County in Connecticut. 

Previously, Lucchese was a senior adviser with Epoch Senior Living and director of community relations at Benchmark Senior Living. She is a licensed practical nurse with almost 20 years of experience specializing in dementia care.

LCB hires Lynn Tracey as resident engagement director at Residence at Brookside

Lynn Tracey has been named resident engagement director at The Residence at Brookside, an LCB Senior Living community.

Tracey graduated from Manchester Community College with an associate’s degree in music studies, followed by the Hartford Conservatory School of Performing Arts, where she studied jazz. She has been a state-certified recreation therapist for more than a decade and has performed professionally in Connecticut and the Pacific Northwest for more than 25 years in addition to being a music teacher.

Genesis’ Lillian Reda to chair Alzheimer’s Association Dementia Care Provider Roundtable

Lillian Reda, Genesis HealthCare’s national director of memory support clinical practice and education, has been selected to serve as chair of the Alzheimer’s Association Dementia Care Provider Roundtable for the 2024 term.

With more than 30 years of experience, Reda has served as a practitioner, advocate and consultant in the development, implementation, clinical practice, care delivery and education of memory support programs and dementia care in a variety of settings, including skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communities and adult day services settings. She is a certified dementia practitioner and a certified Montessori dementia care professional. She previously was vice chair of the AADCPR.

Nobi adds three to US business development team

Nobi has expanded its US business development team by adding Marc McGrann, Erich Klett and Pat Finley. They will lead business development for Nobi’s flagship device, an AI-powered, aesthetically designed smart lamp.

McGrann joins Nobi USA from Vayyar Imaging, where he led the company’s growth in North America. Klett joins Nobi from Direct Supply, where he held various positions. Finley, in his previous role, contributed to Direct Supply’s growth by developing strategic selling plans and implementing strategies to enhance revenues and margins.
