Western States Lodging and Management promotes five

Western States Lodging and Management, South Jordan, UT, has promoted five employees to its executive leadership team.

Chad Griffiths has been promoted to chief financial officer, Jennifer S. Knecht has been promoted to chief revenue officer, Marshall Paepke has been promoted to chief strategy and human resource officer, Cole Smith has been promoted to chief development officer and David Webster Jr. has been promoted to chief operating officer.

Griffiths brings almost 20 years of financial experience to the property development and management company’s executive team. 

Knecht’s addition to the leadership team adds more than 20 years of sales and marketing, customer experience and operations leadership.

Paepke is an accomplished entrepreneur and an expert in leadership development and strategic growth.

Smith, the company said, is a seasoned entrepreneur with a passion for real estate, building long-term value, creating lasting change and developing sustainable solutions.

Webster has 22 years of experience at the company.

NewAldaya Lifescapes names Marcy McNeal CEO

Marcy McNeal has been named the CEO of NewAldaya Lifescapes. She will succeed Millisa Tierney, who spent 31 years at the retirement community in Cedar Falls, IA. 

Currently, McNeal is the administrator for Sunrise Hill Care & Rehab Center, Traer, IA. She previously was an interim executive director and consultant for Live Long and Prosper. McNeal also gained recognition by being named a McKnight’s Women of Distinction Rising Star in 2021.

Scott Novak has been named the corporate head of food and beverage at Bridge Senior Living

Before joining Bridge, Novak earned almost 30 years of food and beverage experience, most recently as a senior sales, food and beverage and business development consultant for hotels, cruise lines and rail industry brands, following three years as a luxury marketing/merchandise sales manager for Disney Cruise Line.

He earned an undergraduate degree from Northern Illinois University.

Lifespace Communities taps Bradley Bodie for executive director role

Bradley Bodie has been named executive director of Abbey Delray South, a Lifespace Community in Delray Beach, FL. 

Bodie most recently was executive director of Covenant Living of Florida. He earned his master’s degree in gerontology and management of aging services from UMass Boston and his undergraduate degree in health services administration from Florida International University.

Gilbert Carrasco has been named executive director of The Variel, Woodland Hills, CA. The independent living, assisted living and memory care community is managed by Momentum Senior Living.

Before joining The Variel, Carrasco led continuing care retirement communities in California and Texas through the COVID-19 pandemic, debt refinancing, multiphase master planning and strategic redevelopment. He recently completed his PhD research on circadian rhythm and using artificial light in design to enhance residents’ living environments.

With a nursing background and an undergraduate degree in healthcare administration, Phillips previously was the assisted living director at the Palisades at Broadmoor Park and a patient care coordinator for UnitedHealth Group.

Mary Kaba has been named the director of resident life at Seabrook, an Erickson Senior Living-managed continuing care retirement community in Tinton Falls, NJ. 

Kaba has more than 30 years of experience in senior living, most recently as the director of Artis Way Experience at Artis Senior Living. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in education from William Paterson University and a Master of Arts degree in psychology and educational leadership from the University of the Rockies.

Jennifer Martell has been named the vice president of people and culture at Health Dimensions Group

Martell brings more than a decade of experience in leading senior living operations and human resources teams to the role. Before joining HDG, she was vice president of human resources and regional director of operations for a large senior living organization in the Midwest.

Martell earned her undergraduate degree in business administration, with focuses in human resources and organizational leadership, from Rasmussen University. She also is an alumna of the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh, where she studied psychology.

Integral announces Nathan Condie as executive director of the year

Nathan Condie, senior executive director of The Terraces of Roseville, Roseville, CA, has been named Executive Director of the Year by Integral Senior Living and Solstice Senior Living. The award was bestowed at the companies’ annual leadership conference.

Condie was recognized for his passion for his community and his desire for excellence. He previously held the positions of executive director and senior executive director and recently was promoted to area director of operations.
