National Church Residences adds 3 VPs

Brianna Mettler and Julie Woolley have been named senior vice presidents, and Carrie Dean has been added as vice president of development closings at National Church Residences

Mettler has been appointed senior vice president of senior living and senior services and has been at National Church Residences since 2006. 

Woolley joined National Church Residences in 2017 as associate general counsel and has been promoted to senior vice president.

Dean joined National Church Residences in 2016.

Williamsport Home appoints Jen Cisneros executive director

Jen Cisneros has been named the executive director of The Williamsport Home.

Cisneros most recently was TWH’s nursing home administrator. She was named a McKnight’s Women of Distinction Rising Star in 2019. 

Cisneros earned an undergraduate degree in nursing from Wilkes University and an undergraduate degree in healthcare administration from the University of Phoenix. She is a registered nurse, a licensed nursing home administrator, a licensed personal care home administrator and a certified dementia practitioner.

Taletha Sims has been named executive director at Prestonwood Court

Sims has worked in senior living for six years. She is a registered nurse and has held roles as nurse supervisor, director of nursing and regional executive director.

Morning Pointe names Wylie Fuller executive director of Morning Pointe of Collegedale at Greenbriar Cove

Wylie Fuller has been named executive director of Morning Pointe of Collegedale at Greenbriar Cove

Fuller was promoted from his previous position as business office manager, which he served as for seven years. Prior to Morning Pointe of Collegedale at Greenbriar Cove, he worked at The Lantern at Morning Pointe Alzheimer’s Center of Excellence, Collegedale. Fuller also has a background in retail and banking.

Kendal at Ithaca adds 3 to board of trustees

Justine Fetterly, Joe Mareane and Sonia Rucker have joined the board of trustees for Kendal at Ithaca

Fetterly has more than 15 years of experience in nonprofit communications. She also serves on the board of directors for the Finger Lakes Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America.

Mareane has a career in local government that includes nine years as the Tompkins County administrator. He attended the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs at Syracuse University.

Rucker is the associate vice president of inclusion and belonging and presidential adviser for diversity and equity at Cornell University.

ACHCA announces 2024-2025 board of directors 

The American College of Health Care Administrators has announced its 2024-2025 Board of Directors. Board members were installed at ACHCA’s 57th Annual Convocation & Exposition May 6 in Myrtle Beach, SC.

Matthew J. Lessard, MS, HPM, CNHA, FACHCA, regional director of operations for Maine, with National Health Care Associates, will continue as chair. A member of ACHCA since 2005, he has more than 19 years of experience as a licensed nursing home administrator. He has served on the Education and Bylaws Committees and as District One Director.

Page & Turnbull names James Mallery architectural director

James Mallery has been named the architectural director of Page & Turnbull

Mallery holds a doctorate in American history from the University of California, Los Angeles and a master’s degree in architecture from Cal Poly-Pomona, and he has taught classes in architectural history, urban theory and architectural tectonics. Prior to Page & Turnbull, Mallery worked with Perkins & Will and WRNS Studio.

NADONA executive director Sherrie Dornberger dies

Sherrie Dornberger, executive director at National Association Directors of Nursing Administration in Long-Term Care, died Wednesday after a two-week hospital stay.

The New Jersey native was the executive director of NADONA for more than 13 years and was the group’s president for seven years before that. She was a facility director of nursing for 26 years, preceding that with a seven-year stint as a registered nurse.

Dornbergr had shared insights with the readers of sister publication McKnight’s Long-Term Care News’ readers as its “Ask the Care Expert” columnist since 2006. Read more about her career on the McKnight’s Long-Term Care News website, mcknights.com.
