Long-term care corporate executives saw an average salary increase of 3.17% in 2022 regardless of the size or revenue of their companies, and salaries for their counterparts in home health / hospice rose 3.09%.

That’s according to the 39th edition of the Multi-Facility Corporate Compensation Report, produced annually by the Hospital & Healthcare Compensation Service.

Projected increases for 2023 are similar to last year, with a 3.3% increase anticipated in long-term care and a 3.07% increase in health / hospice, according to HCS data.

The 2022-2023 report contains data from 83 multi‐facility companies. Overall, the report examines executive compensation among higher-revenue nursing homes, larger continuing care retirement communities, assisted living communities and multi-site organizations. Data are reported nationally by individual healthcare type according to organization revenue size.
