PointClickCare and MatrixCare have earned 2023 Best in KLAS awards for their contributions to long-term care via technology, the companies announced Wednesday.

The 2023 Best in KLAS: Software & Services Report recognizes software and services companies who excel in helping healthcare professionals improve resident/patient care. 

The report “highlights the top-performing healthcare IT solutions as determined by extensive evaluations and conversations with thousands of healthcare providers,” KLAS CEO Adam Gale stated. “These distinguished winners have demonstrated exceptional dedication to improving and innovating the industry, and their efforts are recognized through their inclusion in this report.

Mississauga, Ontario-basedPointClickCare had the highest score in the Long-Term Care category for the fourth consecutive year.

Experience Care NetSolutions ranked second in the category, followed by MatrixCare and CPSI American HealthTech.

In the Senior Living: Assisted Living & Memory Care category, PointClickCare was the only company listed as an honoree.

In the Home Health: Health System-Owned category, Epic Dorothy and Meditech’s Home Health ranked first and second, respectively. In the Home Health: Independent (Large) category, MatrixCare Home Health (Brightree), Homecare Homebase and WellSky Home Health took first, second and third, respectively. In the Home Health: Independent (Small) category, MatrixCare Home Health (Brightree) and WellSky Home Health came in first and second, respectively.

In the Hospice: Independent category, WellSky Hospice & Palliative, MatrixCare Hospice and Homecare Homebase were ranked first, second and third, respectively.
