The seventh McKnight’s Senior Living Online Expo, on Thursday, June 15, will feature two sessions designed to help providers solve the industry’s top challenges: workforce issues

In “Using a career ladder to recruit and retain long-term employees” at 12:30 p.m. ET, attendees will be able to earn a continuing education credit while learning:

  • Data-driven strategies to engage and motivate staff members in their training.
  • How to cultivate a culture of learning that retains employees and enables care staff to reach their highest potential.

Speaking will be Linda Leekley, chief clinical officer, and Megan Teis, director of course development, both of Home Care Pulse.

In “Elevating senior living quality through trusted partnerships” at 2 p.m. ET, attendees will will be able to earn a CE credit while gaining insights into:

  • How to align with talent partners that excel in recruitment, retention and providing training and support resources.
  • How to find partners that prioritize quality of care and share the common goal of elevating care standards.
  • Partnerships beyond traditional staffing agencies that alleviate staffing challenges.
  • The positive effects of those partnerships on staff satisfaction, resident outcomes and operational efficiency.

Speaking will be Rebecca Love, chief clinical officer at Intelycare.

The webinars are two of four that will be part of the McKnight’s Senior Living Online Expo. Each will offer CE credit.

The two other hour-long educational sessions:

  • 11 a.m. ET: “Knowledge is power: Citation trends and preparing for your on-site survey”
  • 3:30 p.m. ET: “Technology implementation strategy: Best practices for senior living communities”

The virtual doors of the event will open at 10:30 a.m. ET, when participants will have the chance to network with peers and visit the online exhibition hall featuring products and services from companies serving senior living.

Webinar attendees also will be able to visit the online booths before and after the CE sessions.
