McKnight’s Senior Living has won a Platinum Award, the highest honor in the Hermes Creative Awards, as well as six additional awards in the 2021 competition.

The international contest is administered and judged by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals. All awards were for work completed in 2020.

Art Director Mark Speakman won the Platinum Award for the McKnight’s Senior Living media kit.

McKnight’s Senior Living Editor Lois A. Bowers, Content Editor Kimberly Bonvissuto, Editorial Director John O’Connor and Speakman also won a Gold Award for the Daily Briefing e-newsletter.

Two blogs written by Bowers — “Industry, lawmakers agree: Assisted living needs COVID-19 help” and “This senior living president has COVID-19. Here’s what he wants you to know” — also earned Gold Awards. Another blog by Bowers, “Pandemic highlights value of senior living for adult children, leaders say,” earned an honorable mention.

The brand also won an honorable mention in the Best Business-to-Business Website category. 

Additionally, with sister media brand McKnight’s Long-Term Care News, McKnight’s Senior Living won a Gold Award for the McKnight’s Women of Distinction Awards “Book of the Night” (program), designed by Speakman.
